Affiliated with 24 teaching hospitals Reporting to the Supervisor, CT, the CT Technologist is responsible for production of computerized tomographic examinations. These responsibilities include the operation of all CT equipment. The CT Technologist will be responsible for a multitude of CT exams including biopsies and Interventional CT. Employee will be knowledgeable and dedicated to radiation safety. Employee will provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff with an emphasis on quality service and excellent patient care. Employee must be self-motivated and demonstrate ability to work as a team. QUALIFICATIONS Work Experience Cerner experience - one year Preference of two years' experience License/Registration/Certification ARRT credentials for diagnostic imaging Active NY State license. Also, must receive the enhanced NYS license for injections CPR (by the American Heart Association) PALS, BLS, ACLS - American Heart Association Education and Training Minimum of Associates degree, Radiologic Sciences program. ARRT Certification in CT preferred Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
