**Job Title:** CT Technologist **Job Specialty:** Radiology **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night Shift (Four 10-hour shifts or Three 12-hour shifts from 20:30-07:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum 2 years **License:** Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice **Certifications:** ARRT (CT) certification, Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer **Must-Have:** Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School; High school graduate **Job Description:** - Perform technical procedures in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center- Utilize modality to create diagnostic images and ensure a safe, positive experience for patients- Support teaching and continue learning as technology evolves- Conduct CT exams on various patient types including trauma, emergency, outpatients, inpatients, research patients, and those needing specialized CT scan-guided procedures- Practice and enforce radiation safety measures as per local health code regulationsNote: This position is for a contractor replacement, and candidates must not be local to specified nearby counties.
