**Job Title:** PET/CT Technologist**Job Specialty:** PET/CT**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** 10 Hour Days**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week**Experience:** 1-2 years of PET/CT imaging experience**License:** State license as required**Certifications:** - Certification in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT (RT-N)) - CPR certification**Must-Have:** - High school diploma or GED - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred - Valid state driver's license **Job Description:**- Use exceptional communication skills to connect with patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction.- Produce high-quality diagnostic images by effectively interpreting physician orders and selecting appropriate software options and imaging parameters.- Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic injection technique, and radiation safety/regulations.- Train new technologists as needed.- Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment (including monitors, PACS, coils, etc.).- Work in various environments such as outpatient centers, mobile coaches, or hospital-based facilities.- Local travel may be required.We are an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity and providing employment opportunities without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, status as a protected veteran, or disability.
