Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Gross Weekly $2,682.00 Hourly taxed $38.00 OT $100.58 Stipends $1,162.00 Combined Hourly $67.05 CT Technologist/X-ray Technologist will perform both x-rays and CT exams. Able to perform Quality, Diagnostic CT scans. Knowledge of cross section anatomy, knowledge of CT scanner protocols. Knowledge of CT scanner functions. Is able to properly select technical factors for efficiency performing scans. Will follow CT protocols set by Radiologists for each exam. Follows MHC policy regarding preparation and/or administration of contrast media when indicated, including GFR policy and Contrast Allergy policy. Maintains knowledge of technologist role when responding to contrast allergies and reactions. Responsible for smooth flow of the department, patient preparation of CT scans and x-ray exams. Collaborates with all other department personnel for smooth patient flow. Maintains up-to-date, current CPR certification and ARRT licensure. Shift: 8:45p - 7:15a; 4 - 10's; 40 hours/week.
