A & A Services is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/17/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel JOB TYPE: CT Technologist - Travel Assignment SHIFT: Night Shift (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday) 7:00pm-7:00am CONTRACT DURATION: 13 weeks (November 17, 2024 – February 15, 2024) GUARANTEED HOURS: 36 hours per week COMPENSATION: • $2,913 per week. $1,800 per week for pay $1,113 per week for stipends. REQUIREMENTS: • Must not have worked in any permanent or travel position with the client facility in the past year. • Local candidates are not eligible for this assignment. (50 miles) • Full documentation for onboarding and compliance must be submitted promptly. Key Responsibilities for a CT Technologist: • Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. • Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort. • Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure. • Collaborate with physicians to evaluate imaging results and ensure image quality. • Maintain accurate patient records, including procedure details and images. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, particularly radiation safety standards. • Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and maintain imaging equipment as needed( Qualifications: • Education: Completion of an accredited radiologic technology or CT program. • Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography and advanced certification in CT. • • NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or) must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment. • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment. • NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment BLS • Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiology safety, and cross-sectional imaging techniques( Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand, walk, and move frequently throughout the workday. • Physical strength to assist with positioning patients, some of whom may require help due to mobility issues. • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy imaging equipment. • Fine motor skills to operate complex imaging machinery and handle delicate tools. • Visual and auditory acuity to assess imaging quality and communicate with patients and staff EEO STATEMENT A & Associates, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
