Certification Details Current NYS license in Radiologic Technology required, with injection certification ARRT Certification required, Computed Tomography preferred at hire or obtained within 24 months of hire Job Details The essential task of a CTTechnologist is operating computed tomography equipment and accessories. Able to perform tube warm-ups and calibrations daily. CT Technologists apply principles of radiation protection during exams to minimize unnecessary exposure. Perform all CT examinations, CT biopsys, 3D renderings and reformations, etc. A vast knowledge and understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, vascular anatomy and abnormal pathology is essential. Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Education program Current NYS license in Radiologic Technology required, with injection certification ARRT Certification required, Computed Tomography preferred at hire or obtained within 24 months of hire 2 or more years of experience as CT Technologist is preferred Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification Schedule Information On-call and holiday rotation assignments required as assigned Unit Specific Information TITLE: CT Technologist DEPARTMENT: Radiology REPORTS TO: Supervisor of CT
