Certification Details- Current NYS license in Radiologic Technology required, with injection certification
- ARRT Certification required, Computed Tomography preferred at hire or obtained within 24 months of hire
Job Details- The essential task of a CTTechnologist is operating computed tomography equipment and accessories.
- Able to perform tube warm-ups and calibrations daily.
- CT Technologists apply principles of radiation protection during exams to minimize unnecessary exposure.
- Perform all CT examinations, CT biopsys, 3D renderings and reformations, etc.
- A vast knowledge and understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, vascular anatomy and abnormal pathology is essential.
Job Requirements- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Education program
- Current NYS license in Radiologic Technology required, with injection certification
- ARRT Certification required, Computed Tomography preferred at hire or obtained within 24 months of hire
- 2 or more years of experience as CT Technologist is preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
Schedule Information- On-call and holiday rotation assignments required as assigned
