About The Position**Job Title:** Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer**Job Specialty:** Radiology / Cardiology**Job Duration:** 10 weeks**Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (06:30 - 17:00)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Not specified**License:** Must obtain either ARDMS RDCS or CCI RDS credential**Certifications:** BLS; either ARDMS RDCS or CCI RDS**Must-Have:**- Certification in either ARDMS RDCS or CCI RDS- Adult Echo Skills**Job Description:**- Perform a variety of echocardiography procedures including:- 3-D Echo- Bubble Study- Imaging with Contrast Agents- M-Mode- Pharmacologic Stress Echo- Portable Studies- Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT)- Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT)- Routine- Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)- Treadmill Stress Echo- Utilize equipment from GE and Philips- Conduct procedures on patients in ICU/ED settings, preferred experience with 12 lead EKG and Isolation Precautions- Experience with EMR system preferred- Manage an average daily census of 8-10 patients- Work varied start times from Monday to Friday with call obligations one week every fifth week- Adhere to fit-testing requirements according to employer policy- Flu vaccine is mandatory with medical/religious exemptions only- Must adhere to company policies regarding substances**Note:** Candidates must not have worked in a permanent role within the past 24 months in the facility.
