Certification Details ACLS, BLS required Job Details 13-week contract at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center Specialty: GI/Endo Average number of cases per day: 15-25 Common Cases include General GI - EGD, Colon, Advanced GI - ERCP, EBUS, spyglass Job Requirements ACLS, BLS certifications Must pass/fail Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation - Port Dressing Change (study guides provided with first day instructions) Schedule Information Shifts are Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Start times flexible depending on the schedule Weekends are 24-hour call Weeknight/Call Requirements: Overnight call 17:30 PM - 7:00 AM - rotating call with team Weekend/Call Requirements: 24-hour call starting at 6 AM - rotating call with team Holiday/Call Requirements: possible if needed Call response time: 30 minutes from notification Unit Specific Information Unit: Endo - MGMC Number of Suites: 2 Procedure rooms Number of pre-op/admitting and recovery bays: 8 bays total Frequency of weeknight call: 5-6 nights within a 4-week period Frequency of weekend call: 2 weekend shifts within a 4-week period Friday night call: 5:30 PM - Saturday 6 AM Saturday call: 6 AM - Sunday 6 AM Sunday call: 6 AM - Monday 6 AM Additional Details Self-scheduling available Block scheduling is possible Charge Nurse/House Supervisor on site Possible float to CRMC Endo Scrub Color/Dress Code: change into pre-op light blue scrubs provided by hospital Techs in the Endo area: 4 techs in the room, nurse documents and assists as needed
