About The Position**Job Title:** Medical Imaging Technologist**Job Specialty:** Vascular and Interventional Radiology**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** 10-hour days (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM) with a day off during the week; on-call as well including weeknights and weekends**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** 1 year preferred, but not necessary**License:** Must hold current state registration or possess a limited permit to practice**Certifications:** ARRT registration required, CPR certification required**Must-Have:** EPIC experience required**Job Description:**- Provide quality care to patients undergoing a variety of procedural services.- Collaborate with team members to create diagnostic images.- Engage in hands-on participation as a procedural assistant.- Develop positive relationships with staff and patients, ensuring a safe experience.- Practice radiation protection and safety following ALARA guidelines.- Prepare patients for various procedures in a sterile environment.- Assist physicians in all aspects of complex procedures, including sterile scrubbing.- Demonstrate proficiency in operating all procedural rooms and equipment.- Manage knowledge of supplies for a variety of interventional radiology procedures.- Ensure compatibility of supplies to maintain patient safety.- Possess knowledge of complex cases including peripheral arterial disease treatments, cancer treatments, trauma interventions, and more.- Support teaching and continued learning as technology evolves.**Note:** This position is non-float and scrubs are provided.9441415EXPPLAT
