Core Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Indianapolis, Indiana. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Rad tech for Cath Lab or EP experience LHC with or without stents/RHC, Ablations, ICD, Loop recorder 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Epic- EMR, MAC Lab, Work with mulitple vendors- Boston Scientific, Meditronic. 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. At least 3-5 years experience 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) ARRT, BLS, ACLS 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) Employee will work alone while on call. During the days will have resources for help if needed. Shifts will be 8-4:30pm or when work is completed. 6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) Will work primarily in cath lab in the MIPS department which contains- IR, NIR, Cath lab and EP. May be required to help in other labs. 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. Labs-4 (NIR/ IR/EP/Cath) and 7 recovery beds 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 9. Dress Code: Hospital Scrubs 10. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. There will be one work week of orientation and buddy call. Additonal E-learning will be assigned for hosptial orientation and ther is an EPIC class that will be taken virtually. Additional Comments: Call shifts are from M-F 4:30-0730 and Weekends 0 (full 24 hours) Will need to take 7-12 call shifts and be flexible on call days. Have rooms available in the department for overnight call if needed. Name of Position Requirements 2 years of experience required BLS through AHA required ACLS preferred ARRT required Comments Call is required, it will be 9-10 days a month which will include holidays/weekends – and – the regular schedule is 8am-4:30pm: Mon-Fri.
