Job duties to include:
- Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients' functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients' treatment team.
- Assess patient needs regularly and assist in the developing and updating of the Master Treatment Plan.
- Provide clinically sound individual, family, and group therapies within required time frames and establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
- Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient.
- Provide treatment and case management activities to the patient, which may include individual and group therapy, linkage with community resources, and discharge planning.
- Perform social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health.
- Complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and provide referrals as needed.
- Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations.

- Education: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health, or a related field required
- Licensure/Certifications: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Iowa; may consider non-licensed; must have current CPR and Mandtory Reporter for Adult/Child
- Experience: one or more year's experience in a mental health setting preferred
