Certification DetailsBLSState LicensureJob DetailsPerform mammography imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.Obtain patient medical history, prior imaging of breasts along with reports and verify patient identification and consent prior to performing procedures.Position patients correctly and operate mammography equipment to obtain high-quality images of breast tissue.Monitor patients during imaging procedures and address any concerns or discomfort.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed, including required records to maintain FDA certification.Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret imaging results.Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.Maintain and perform QA on mammography equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality control.Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in breast imaging technology and best practices.Job RequirementsGraduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.Certified by the State of Wyoming to practice and administer radiation.Current BLS certification, required.Schedule InformationFlexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.Additional DetailsIs this a 1099 employee?
