About the Role
Culmen International is seeking a Travel Manager for a future Health and Human Services opportunity.
The Travel Manager is responsible for all aspects of business travel. They help design the company's travel policy, assist with choosing the best corporate travel agency for the business, and look out for the well-being of business travelers.
What You'll Do in Your New Role
* Develop strategic policies and programs for corporate travel.
* Set up and organize a monthly and annual travel budget.
* Handle and oversee all travel arrangements and operations, including commute and lodging.
* Negotiate rates, travel deals, and contracts with travel agencies.
* Provide guidance on travel documents, insurance, and travel laws.
* Handle credit card programs and charges.
* Track and reconcile travel expenses while ensuring compliance with company travel policy.
* Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures.
* Drive continuous improvement of travel programs.
* Maintain a good working relationship with travel service providers and vendors.
* Update the company travel policy as needed based on market research and travel regulations.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in tourism, travel, or related field.
* Minimum of (2) two years' experience working as a Travel Manager or similar role.
* Ability to operate successfully and independently with little to no direction in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule that could include nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Must be computer literate.
* Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
* Proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) preferred.
* Possess a valid Driver's License.
* Possess a clear Tuberculosis test.
* Ability to successfully clear a background check.
* Ability to successfully clear a drug screening.
* Provide immunization documentation for Tdap, Varicella, MMR, Hepatitis A and B, Varicella.
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
