Job Description:

Position Summary:

LEO Events is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Travel Manager to join our team. This role will support the Meeting Services department by overseeing and managing travel logistics for external clients and internal needs. Collaborating across departments, this position ensures seamless travel experiences for clients, their attendees, and our team members. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional customer service, professionalism, organizational expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position is essential to guaranteeing that every travel detail is meticulously planned and executed, ensuring a smooth and efficient journey from start to finish.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, book, contract and manage travel logistics for both external and internal needs, including accommodations, transportation, and/or any other travel-related services.

o Match PNR records within CVENT for client programs.

o Create and track rooming lists needs.

o LEO's annual company-wide retreat, The Roar

Build and maintain relationships with travel vendors, including hotels, car rental companies, and travel agencies, to secure the best rates and services.

o Oversee and track rewards, loyalty programs, and accounts related to air travel, hotel accommodations, and other vendor services.

o Ensure all relevant accounts are up-to-date and properly utilized to maximize savings and benefits for company events and travel needs.

o Monitor and reconcile points, miles, and credits to optimize travel spending and improve cost-efficiency for event-related travel.

Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting and business process departments to establish and manage travel budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Coordinate ground transportation and shuttle services for events, ensuring timely arrivals and departures for attendees.

Address and resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise during the planning or execution of events.

Manage and organize detailed reports, maintaining accurate tracking grids for travel arrangements, expenses, and other key logistics.

Generate insightful reports and analytics to inform and optimize future travel strategies.

Other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Event Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate travel management, preferably within the events or hospitality industry.

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with vendors and clients.

Proficient in travel management software and tools.

Proficient in matching PNR in CVENT.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.

Candidate should be knowledgeable of market and industry trends

Environmental Conditions and Physical Demands:

Employee is required to spend a portion of time in a seated position looking at a computer screen. Employee will be required to do some standing and walking. Employee will be in a well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.

Compensation details: 60000-60000 Yearly Salary
