About The PositionJoin our team as a locum tenens Emergency Medicine physician in New Mexico! Experience a rewarding assignment in a supportive environment with covered travel and full lodging accommodations.
Practice Setting
- 25-bed critical access hospital in New Mexico.
- Join an experienced team of ER directors (MD and RN), surgeons, nurses, and other specialists
- Highly skilled team with certifications in advanced adult and pediatric life support, as well as specialized trauma care certifications
- Department offers two screening rooms, five private exam rooms, and two critical care rooms equipped for advanced life support and trauma care
Schedule Details
- Dates in December needed (day shift 7am – 7pm) (night shifts 7pm – 7am)
Cases and Procedures
- ER cases primarily; if advanced care is needed, patients will be transported to regional tertiary centers
- Basic and bedside ER procedures
Requirements
- Emergency Medicine/Family Practice Physician
- ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications required
- Board certification is not required
- Must have EM experience
Travel and Lodging
- Travel is provided alongside fully furnished living accommodations
