About The Position**Job Title:** Locum Emergency Medicine Physician**Job Specialty:** Emergency Medicine**Job Duration:** Start in November 2024 for 13 weeks**Shift:** 24-Hour Shifts: 6-3, 12-9, 3-12, 9-6**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Not specified**License:** Michigan License required**Certifications:** Board Certified**Must-Have:**- Must have a clean background- Local providers only**Job Description:**- Provide coverage in the Emergency Department- Handle up to 1.8 patients per hour- Work with a supportive team including APPs, nursing, and tech staff- Utilize Cerner for EHR- Perform a variety of medical procedures such as:- Adult and pediatric outpatient care- Newborn resuscitation- Management of orthopedic non-displaced fractures- Suturing minor lacerations- Incision and drainage- Management of psychiatric cases (adult, child/adolescent, geriatric)- Ventilation management and airway establishment- Acute volume/BP issue evaluation and management- Central and arterial line insertion- EKG interpretation- Arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, and paracentesis- Manage common industrial-related medical problems**Additional Information:**- Expenses covered include car, fuel, and mileage- Use reverse billing system with clock in/out method1580241EXPTEMP
