About The Position**Job Title:** Locum Tenens Physician**Job Specialty:** Emergency Medicine**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Day - 3x12 - 7am - 7pm (36 Hours)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Emergency Medicine training preferred**License:** Minimum Board Certification Eligible**Certifications:**- ACLS- ATLS (if Primary Care trained)- PALS**Must-Have:**- Emergency Medicine training if not ATLS, ACLS & PALS certified- Providers living beyond a 50-mile radius requested**Job Description:**- Coverage needed for specific dates in December:- Day Shift: December 23-25- Night Shift: December 24-25, 27-28- Opportunity to extend if able to cover December dates- Facility information:- ED volume: 20,000- 24 hours of physician coverage, 12-hour shifts- 10 hours of APP coverage daily- Admission rate: 12%- EMR: Meditech- Patient encounters per shift: 27-28- Beds in department: 11- Nearest airports: DFW or Oklahoma City- Lodging: Chain hotel options available- Support services with 24-hour availability:- Anesthesia- Catheterization Lab- General Surgery- Laboratory- Orthopedic Surgery- Radiology- Trauma Level: 0- Facility PEDs Level: 0- The facility does not handle newborn deliveries in the ED but has an L&D department- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days with a clean file**Special Notes:**- Providers from OKC, DFW, Tulsa are welcome- No providers within a 50-mile radius of the hospital1586305EXPTEMP
