About The PositionJoin our healthcare practice as a locum tenens Family Medicine Physician! Enjoy a flexible, outpatient-only position with no call requirements. Practice a diverse range of medicine, from primary care and chronic disease management to minor procedures and women's health.
Practice Setting
- Outpatient clinic setting
- The clinic is a multi-specialty practice offering primary care and infectious disease services
- 2 support staff per provider (LPN or MA)
Schedule
- Quick start with a 1-2 week credentialing process
- No call requirements
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8 AM - 5 PM
- Tuesday: 8 AM - 6 PM
- Friday: 8 AM - 1 PM
Cases and Procedures
- Primary Care
- Chronic Disease Management
- Standard Sick and Well Visits
- Infectious Disease (HIV experience a plus)
- Minor Procedures (e.g., Cryotherapy, Joint Injections)
- Screening Exams (Well Child, Annual Preventive Exams, Cervical Cancer Screening)
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active South Carolina Medical License
- DEA and BLS Certifications
- SC Controlled Substance Registration
- Medicare and SC Medicaid Credentialed
