LocumJobsOnline is working with Cynet Locums to find a qualified General Practice MD in New Jersey!About The Position**Job Title:** Physician**Job Specialty:** Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Days PRN**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Not specified**License:** New Jersey state license**Certifications:** Board Certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PMR**Must-Have:**- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions- Own a personal laptop (No Mac/Apple products)- Active and unrestricted full medical license- Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified- Current home address must be included in the CV- If educated abroad, a copy of the ECFMG certificate is required**Job Description:**- Perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams.- Conduct evaluations primarily based on interviews with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.- Perform non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments.- Complete evaluations in the designated provider portal within 48 hours of completing exams.- Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions is required.- Use of a goniometer is necessary.- Follow-up administrative work will include addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics regularly.- Undergo training for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) which involves completing standardized forms without narrative reports.- Willingness to travel on occasion to assist in other regions, as needed.- Ensure all training, including VA required DMA certifications (10+ hours) and orientation materials (60-90 mins), are completed as scheduled.- Participate in case assignments and complete first exams after verification of training readiness.- Engage in optional up-front QA sessions for live review of early exam reports if desired.- Open to flexible scheduling, choosing between 4-hour or 8-hour examination days.- Opportunity for credentialing and DMA certification is available.Note: Candidates must be prepared to complete credentialing quickly once process is initiated.
