About The Position**Job Title:** Physician**Job Specialty:** General Medicine**Job Duration:** Ongoing**Shift:** Days PRN - as needed basis**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Not specified**License:** Active and unrestricted full license**Certifications:** Board Certified**Must-Have:**- Personal laptop (no Mac/Apple products)- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions- Willing to complete DMA training- Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio is required**Job Description:**- Perform Compensation Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments- Available for coverage options to travel and perform exams at specific facilities or schedule veterans within your own practice- Conduct one-time, non-treatment CP exams and assessments- Interview-based exams with some physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing- Follow standardized form completion for Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)- No prescribing or treatment required- Quick credentialing and onboarding process- Utilize a goniometer during assessments- Record review required, including follow-up administrative work (addendums, medical opinions, and diagnostics)- DMA certification available for additional CME credits- After completing credentialing and DMA training, mark availability for scheduling- Complete a 2-3 hour PEP session/training before your first shift- If established, could be asked to travel to assist with cases, with travel expenses reimbursed as per guidelines.1587578EXPTEMP
