Pay Information$450 to $550 per hour
About The PositionWe are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our healthcare team on a locum tenens basis. Our outpatient practice in North Carolina, located just an hour from beautiful Myrtle Beach, offers a unique opportunity to work in a community with easy access to the coast. This is a long-term, stable assignment at a full-scope facility equipped with onsite radiology and lab testing for real-time patient care.
Practice Setting
- Outpatient facility
- Support from 2 other MDs, 1 Radiation Oncologist, 3 APPs, nurses, nurse and financial navigators, pharmacy, lab, and PET Scan
- 16 onsite infusion chairs, onsite radiology, and lab testing
Cases and Procedures
- Full-scope Hematology and Oncology, with a slight emphasis on Hematology
- Average of 10-16 patients per day with flexibility
- 7 clinic hours and 1 administrative hour daily
Schedule
- Up to full-time, ongoing assignment
- Courtesy phone call rotation (1:3), with minimal after-hours calls
Requirements
- Board-certified in Hematology/Oncology
- North Carolina medical license
- BLS and DEA certifications
Travel and Lodging
- Travel and lodging support is provided
- Reside in a sought-after location with access to the coast
