About The Position**Job Title:** Locum Tenens Pediatric Surgeon**Job Specialty:** Pediatric Surgery**Job Duration:** 7 Days**Shift:** Day - 5x8 - 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM, 40 Hours**Guaranteed Hours:** To Be Determined**Experience:** Minimum years required not specified**License:** Board Certified**Certifications:**- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)- BLS (Basic Life Support)- Other (No specific details provided)**Must-Have:** Board Certification in relevant specialty**Job Description:**- Cover open shifts from 1/2 AM to 1/6 AM and 1/17 AM to 1/20 PM.- Encounter patients per shift as requirements are finalized.- Facility has a trauma level indicator of 0, and a Pediatric level of 0.- Specialize in a variety of surgical procedures including:- General Surgery- Pediatric Surgery- Neonate Surgery- Trauma and Laparoscopic Surgery- Various specific surgeries such as Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty, and more.- Conduct procedures including but not limited to:- Endoscopic examinations: Upper and Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy.- Minor Orthopedics and Hand Surgery- Ventilation and chest tube management, central line insertion- Demonstrable skills in additional pediatric surgical procedures, such as Artesias and PDA ligation, are preferred.- Engage in surgeries ranging from breast, obstetric & gynecologic, to vascular and thoracic surgeries.- Make contributions in both adult and pediatric care where necessary.1588762EXPTEMP
