Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity

Join our team as a Pediatric Hospitalist in a supportive, rural setting with a flexible schedule and a meaningful work-life balance. This assignment offers the chance to make a lasting impact in a community-focused environment with a dedicated team!

Practice Setting

  • Level 1 Nursery with inpatient and outpatient clinics and a low patient volume
  • Collaborative environment with skilled nurses, APPs, OBs, general surgeons, and access to pediatric cardiology for echos/EKGs
  • Predominantly newborn nursery care, with some pediatric inpatient and emergency cases

Schedule

  • 24-hour call schedule
    • Minimal weekend coverage with additional opportunities starting in January
    • Remote call responsibilities with quick response times only when needed

Cases and Procedures

  • Patient panel ranges from newborn through adolescence
  • Perform essential pediatric procedures with support and resources readily available
  • Manage newborns, routine pediatric admissions, and stabilize higher-acuity cases for transfer

Requirements

  • Board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
  • Active Ohio medical license (emergency privileges available for clean backgrounds)
  • ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications are required

Travel and Lodging

  • Travel and lodging accommodations are provided
  • Less than one hour from an international airport
