Travel Med/Surg Nurse Ithaca, New York, USA - 14621 Job Title: Travel Nurse - Med/Surg Shift: Day - 12 hours - three days Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 02/07/2023 Stipend: $1,281 Hourly Pay: $73 OT: 1.5 Weekly pay: $2,628 JOB DESCRIPTION RN MS Nights ASAP 36 hours 8 weeks. One RN for the Surgical Stay Unit Med/Surg RN that can read strips 8 weeks 36 hour/week 212 beds, employs over 1,500 health-care professionals, and has a medical staff of more than 200 affiliated physicians. Service area 150,000 area residents. QUALIFICATIONS
- Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Possesses effective oral and written communication skills.
- Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
- Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
- Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
Work Experience
License/Registration/Certification
- Current RN License to practice or compact license (if applicable)
- CPR (by the American Heart Association)
- BLS, ACLS - American Heart Association
Education and Training
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Employee Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred.
