Number of Postions 2 Years Experience Req 1 Bill Rate $105.12 / HR Overtime Rate $105.12 / HR Holiday Rate $128.25 / HR Start Date 11/13/2023 End Date 02/12/2024 Duration 13 Weeks Unit Med Surg Unit Type Med Surg (Medical Surgical) Trauma Level N/A Division Nursing Care Setting Acute Charting System Epic License to Submit Yes, willing to wait BSN Required No Guaranteed Hours 36 hours per week Orientation Hours 12 Required Certifications BLS, PEARS Shift Nights Shift Length 12 Shift Notes Nights, Weekends as needed, First to float -Region II: Primary to St Elizabeth Hospital but if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Two: St. Clare Hospital - Lakewood, WA; St. Elizabeth Hospital - Enumclaw, WA; St Joseph Medical Center - Tacoma, WA Cancellation Policy 3 shifts per 13 week contract Unit Notes **Medical Solutions auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax - you are able re-add that back in.** Region II: Primary to St Elizabeth Hospital but if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Two: St. Clare Hospital - Lakewood, WA; St. Elizabeth Hospital - Enumclaw, WA; St Joseph Medical Center - Tacoma, WA. Additional $20 hours when floated within Region II that's not the primary facility. Unit Med/Surg # Beds 19 Nurse:Patient Ratios 5:1 conventional, 6:1 contingency Required certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, PEARS or PALS Common diagnoses/Types of patients CHF, Gyno, general surgical, GI (can include stable peds patients), respiratory illness, isolation, Altered Mental Status, stable neurology to include stroke, COPD Experience or 'Must have' skills at least 1 year Are RNs required to titrate drips? yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips Heparin Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors? Remote monitored, yes need experience reading telemetry Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Charge RN typically does not have an assignment Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios yes, 1:12 RT Equipment (i.e., Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, vents, etc.) CPAP, BiPAP, High Flow, vents Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) manager builds schedule based on operational needs Weekend Requirement every other Holiday Requirement equitable rotation Is there Call or a Standby requirement? yes Floating Requirements? within scope Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided? professional scrubs, no color preference Unit/Department specific orientation 1 day with Clinical Coordinator, 1-2 floor shifts first week Additional Notes Use EPIC
