AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Medical Lab Technician in Griffin, Georgia, 30224!Pay Information$1,492 per weekAbout The PositionJob Title: Medical Lab Technician - General Lab - DayJob Specialty: LaboratoryJob Duration: 13 weeksShift: Wednesday-Friday, 6am-6:30pmGuaranteed Hours: Not specifiedExperience: Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience preferredLicense: Must meet technician qualifications on initial hireCertifications: Med Lab Technician (AAB), Med Lab Technician (AMT), or Med Lab Technician (ASCP)Must-Have:- Associates in Medical Technology or a related field or a Certificate in Medical Technology- Demonstrated accuracy in patient care and lab testing processes- Strong critical thinking and organizational skillsJob Description:- Maintain acceptable accuracy in patient, quality assurance, proficiency, and competency testing.- Ensure correct patient or specimen identification.- Adhere to departmental error rate standards in testing or reporting results.- Document investigation and correct interpretation of quality assurance failures or trends.- Achieve acceptable scores in proficiency and personnel competency testing.- Maintain instrumentation for testing.- Use clinical/theoretical knowledge to analyze, investigate, interpret, and report lab data.- Report lab data accurately and promptly.- Recognize the relationship between lab data and clinical findings or expectations.- Initiate problem investigation and work towards resolution.- Interpret information from multiple sources.- Practice information monitoring, investigation, resolution, and hand-off to team members.- Comply with pending log procedures for tracking laboratory test status.- Document all elements of the notification value call procedure.- Pass on information according to departmental procedures and chain of command.- Maintain professional behavior and take responsibility for constructive criticism.- Practice organizational skills for efficiency in time, materials, cost, and completing testing.- Meet deadlines for turn-around times required by the department.- Adhere to departmental standards for organizational skills and productivity.- Apply cost-efficient work processes while maintaining high-quality laboratory data.- Maintain current personal training, education, and practice of policies and procedures.- Demonstrate adequate knowledge of laboratory regulatory compliance.- Follow safety standards and participate in meetings, committees, task forces, and project teams.9543753EXPPLATJob RequirementsRequired for Onboarding
