AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Medical Lab Technician in Lebanon, Ohio, 45036!About The Position**Job Title:** Health Information Technician**Job Specialty:** Staff Augmentation**Job Duration:** 13 Months**Shift:** Day, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday - Friday)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Not specified**License:** Not specified**Certifications:** Not specified**Must-Have:**- Proficiency in Excel- Highly organized and detail-oriented- Ability to work independently- Comfortable with walking and navigating corridors alone**Job Description:**- Compile health information by reviewing, cataloging, and checking medical reports for completeness.- Organize medical reports and ensure all necessary reports and signatures are filed correctly.- Prepare charts for new admissions and fill out necessary forms and reports.- Compile and type statistical reports, such as daily and monthly census, Medicaid days, admissions, discharges, and length of stay.- File reports into health information records, maintaining logs and retrieving information as needed.- Provide information from health records, determining the appropriateness of requests.- Coordinate with other departments regarding health information records procedures.**Major Worker Characteristics:**- Knowledge of health information technology and regulations governing medical record keeping.- Understanding of confidentiality requirements for patient information and medical terminology.- Proficient in using a typewriter and/or word processor and calculator.- Ability to solve problems within a familiar context and write routine business communications.- Competence in proofreading medical reports, recognizing errors, and identifying missing information.- Capable of gathering, collating, and classifying information regarding data, people, or things.9539233EXPPLATJob RequirementsRequired for Onboarding
