-Job duration: 13 weeks - Compensation: $2,500 per week Start date 12/30/2024 Seeking an experienced MLT/MLS candidate - Must possess a current MLT/MLS Generalist Certification or Specialty Certification - Required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu - Hematology and Blood Bank experience required - Must meet qualifications to perform high complexity testing as per CLIA 493.1489 Standard - Essential duties include collection of patient specimens, utilization of Information System for various tasks, and performance of lab tests - Responsible for analyzing test results for validity and accuracy - Ensures that designated turnaround times for results are met and critical results are reported and documented - Performs quality control and proficiency testing procedures - Responsible for interpreting and troubleshooting quality control results - Required to perform preventative maintenance, minor troubleshooting, and calibration of laboratory instrumentation - Participates in method and instrument evaluation and implementation - Participates in teaching and training of new partners and students - Maintenance of competency in current procedures and gaining competency for new methods implemented - Full-time Schedule - Specialty Type: Medical Laboratory - Sub Specialties: Medical Laboratory Technician - General Certifications: N/A - .
