AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified MRI Tech in Berlin, New Hampshire, 03570!About The Position**Job Title:** MRI Technologist**Job Specialty:** MRI**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** 10 Hour Days**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience in high volume environments preferred**License:** State license as required**Certifications:**- CPR certification - BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association- ARRT (R) required, ARRT (MR) preferred- Venipuncture Certification**Must-Have:**- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred- Technical proficiency operating GE 1.5T or other designated vendor scanning equipment- Demonstrated ability to work independently- Ability to work at multiple locations- Valid state driver's license**Job Description:**- Operate imaging and related equipment to provide high-quality diagnostic images on various body areas, including advanced studies.- Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address any patient concerns, demonstrating a high degree of tact, courtesy, and poise.- Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and using aseptic injection techniques.- Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists.- Train new technologists or Patient Coordinators, providing direction and checking work.- Troubleshoot the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment to ensure effective operations and prevent downtime or delays in patient care.- Escalate complex issues to appropriate personnel when necessary.- Demonstrate patient care skills, explaining complex medical terms and procedures in a way that is easily understood by non-medical audiences.We believe in strength through diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
