Certification Details- Formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - REQUIRED
- Venipuncture Certification - must be willing to obtain - REQUIRED
Job Details- Under the direction of the Director of Radiology, the MRI Technologist is responsible for performing duties directly involving a variety of technical procedures applying to Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- This position works at a technical level under limited supervision, independently performing MRI procedures.
- Procedures performed require independent judgment and initiative as well as a comprehensive understanding of MRI safety.
Job Requirements- 5 years experience in a hospital setting as a MRI technologist - REQUIRED
- Formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - REQUIRED
- Venipuncture Certification - must be willing to obtain - REQUIRED
- Toshiba and Cerner experience - Preferred
- Travel experience - Preferred

Unit Specific Information- The Department of Radiology at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital offers services 24/7 to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients of all ages.
- The department provides a range of services including diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, computed tomography, interventional radiography, MRI, bone density and mammography.
- Radiology comprises of licensed technologists, certified and licensed nuclear medicine technologists, secretarial staff, and licensed radiologists.
