Weekly Pay Range - $2491 To $2767 Job Title: MRI Technologist or Technician Job Specialty: MRI Job Duration: 12 months Shift: 9.5 hours, 07:00-17:00 Day (Tuesday-Friday 7:30a-6p, Occasional Saturdays 7:30a-4p) Guaranteed Hours: 38 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year, 2 years preferred License: NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License R.T. (R) (MR) (ARRT) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Grey scrubs Job Description: - Perform MRI procedures following established protocols. - Maintain a safe and clean working environment. - Document patient care services by charting in-patient and department records. - Adhere to policies and procedures related to MRI safety, and radiation protection. - Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals. - Provide quality patient care, demonstrating compassion and professionalism. - Assist with scheduling and administrative tasks when required. - Participate in continuing education and training to stay current in the field. - Ensure the proper functioning of MRI equipment and report any malfunctions timely.
