About The PositionOpportunity DetailsMedicus is partnering with a hospital in central New York, offering a long-term opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a dedicated Emergency Medicine team. Position Highlights:
- Flexible Scheduling: 4-6 shifts per month, 7p-7a, no call shifts
- Long-Term: Ongoing coverage available
- Daily Census: 8-21 patients
- Annual Volume: 10,000
- Facility: 7 ED rooms
- Procedures: Resuscitation, intubation (including surgical airways), ventilator management, pressor agents, sedation, and interpreting blood gases
- EMR: MedHost
- Independent Work: Provide solo coverage on the ER and HM floor
- Support Staff: 2 RNs, LPN, respiratory therapist, supervising RN
- Board Certification: Required
- Accommodations: Paid travel & lodging provided
