About The Position**Job Title:** Nurse Practitioner**Profession:** Nurse Practitioner**Specialty:** Locum Nurse Practitioner**Duration:** 13 Weeks**Shift:** 3 shifts per week or 7 days on/7 days off**Hours per Shift:** 13 Hours**Experience:** Minimum of 3 years in Critical Care NP experience**License:** Must have a license in the practicing state**Certifications:** Acute Care NP certified or NCCPA certified**Must-Have:**- Arterial/Main Line Placement experience- Neurosurgical or Neurology experience is highly preferred**Description:**Exciting opportunity to work in the Neuromedical ICU.Responsibilities include direct care for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures as well as medical neurology patients.Direct care responsibilities include admission work-ups, daily management (including complex ventilator management, central lines, arterial lines, and transfer/discharge).Other responsibilities include student precepting and support of unit-based nurses.Applicant must be motivated, flexible, and independent and possess excellent clinical skills in critical care.The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.1594428EXPTEMP
