AlliedTravelCareers is working with Barton Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech in Kansas!About The Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Location: Kansas

Type of Facility: Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with one weeknight call and rotating 5th weekend call

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac/stress studies, renal scans, cerebral viability tests, HIDA scans, SPECT imaging, bone scans, shuntograms, gastric clearance studies, pulmonary scans, parathyroid imaging, MUGA scans, and cisternography

- Work with patients from various departments including ICU, Pediatrics, Trauma, Med-Surg, and ER

- Operate equipment such as Optima 640, GE Infinia, and Adac Forte

- Handle unit doses (no on-site compounding required)

- Collaborate with a team of 3 staff members and 2 full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologists from another campus

- Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements:

- CNMT or ARRT(N) certification

- Active Kansas state license

- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Nuclear Medicine experience

- Proficiency in various nuclear medicine procedures

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
