In this crucial role, you will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures that help diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions. Key Responsibilities: Perform Nuclear Medicine Imaging: Operate specialized imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, aiding in the detection and treatment of diseases. Administer Radiopharmaceuticals: Carefully administer radiopharmaceuticals in line with established protocols and safety regulations. Ensure Patient Comfort: Position patients properly and ensure their comfort throughout the imaging process, providing support and reassurance. Monitor and Record Patient Vital Signs: Observe patients for any adverse reactions and record all relevant data to ensure a safe and effective procedure. Operate and Maintain Equipment: Ensure all nuclear medicine equipment is functioning optimally and maintained regularly for accuracy and safety. Collaborate with Medical Professionals: Work with radiologists, physicians, and other specialists to interpret nuclear medicine images and integrate them into patient treatment plans. Document Procedures and Results: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with medical standards and protocols. Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protection practices to ensure the safety of both patients and staff. Stay Current: Continuously update your knowledge of nuclear medicine technology and techniques to provide the best possible care to patients. What We're Looking For: BLS Certification (required) ARRT Certification (required) NMTCB Certification (required) 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a clinical setting Seven Healthcare Job ID 749527.
