About The PositionWeekly Pay Range - $2650 To $2944**Job Title:** Nuclear Medicine Technologist Level 2**Job Specialty:** Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Technician**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks**Shift:** Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7 am and 6 pm (No weekends, no call, no holidays)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** 2 years preferred**License:** New York State License**Certifications:**- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)- Radiologic Technologist (RT) certified in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (American Heart Association)**Must-Have:**- CT certification and PET/CT experience**Job Description:**- Review patient history and physician's orders.- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.- Position patients and perform imaging procedures, ensuring proper techniques.- Address patient needs related to age and comprehension to ensure image quality.- Review patient information to confirm an appropriate plan for care.- Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy according to practice standards.- Analyze imaging results and identify any quality issues, taking action to resolve them.- Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately.- Manage radiopharmaceuticals, including ordering, preparing, administering, storing, and disposing per protocols and regulations.- Continually monitor patient conditions and respond to changes as needed.- Maintain an adequate inventory of clinical supplies for nuclear medicine rooms.9313490EXPPLAT
