Travel Nurse - Medicine Heart Rochester, New York, United States - 14642 Job Title: Travel Nurse - Med/Surg Medicine Heart Shift: Night - 12 hours - three days Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 03/20/2023 Stipend: $1,281 Hourly Pay: $73 OT: 1.5 Weekly pay: $2,618 JOB DESCRIPTION Schedule- ROTATING SHIFTS-D/E/N, EOW, holiday per unit needs 886 bed hospital. Level 1 trauma. Heart team of national experts treats every kind of condition affecting the heart, veins, arteries, and other blood vessels, over 60 cardiology issues. Through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence based practice, The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for provision of competent care based on established standards. The Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS Work Experience
- Minimum of two years in specialty in similar size hospital
- Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record.
License/Registration/Certification
- New York active uncumbered state license or compact license (if applicable)
- CPR (by the American Heart Association)
- BLS, ACLS - American Heart Association
Education and Training
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Employee Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred.
Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
