Travel Nurse - Neuro ICU Rochester, New York, United States - 14642 Job Title: Travel Nurse - Neuro ICU Shift: Day - 12 hours - three days Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 07/10/2023 Stipend: $1,281 Hourly Pay: $73 OT: 1.5 Weekly pay: $2,618 JOB DESCRIPTION 886 bed academic medical center. Level 1 trauma center Schedule-D/E/N ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULES, Every Other Weekend (EOW), Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs Will consider 48 hours straight time. A Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit whose primary focus is the critically ill Neuro patient who requires a high degree of specialized nursing and medical care. Patient diagnosis includes traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke and other critical neurologic pathologies. A brand new state-of-the-art, 12 bed ICU. QUALIFICATIONS
- Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Possesses effective oral and written communication skills.
- Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
- Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
- Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
Work Experience
License/Registration/Certification
- Current RN License to practice or compact license (if applicable)
- CPR (by the American Heart Association)
- BLS, ACLS - American Heart Association
Education and Training
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Employee Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred.
