Certification Details- BCLS certification required; ACLS certification required (as of 6/1/21).
- ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification (only required if working in the Infusion Center)
- Current cancer-specific certification in the nurse's specialty by anaccredited certification program.
Job Details- A hospital in the New York City area is in need of an Infusion Nurse Practitioner to work a 13-week travel assignment.
- The NP will need to have Oncology experience and being EPIC trained would be a bonus.
Job Requirements- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
- Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Current NYS license as a Nurse Practitioner
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Maintains a current collaborative practice agreement.
- BCLS certification required; ACLS certification required (as of 6/1/21).
- Minimum two years' experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Schedule Information- Schedule: 4 10s Monday - Friday 8a - 6p

- All registered nurses and advanced practice nurses providing direct oncology care must demonstrate one of the following:
- Current cancer-specific certification in the nurse's specialty by an accredited certification program.
- Oncology nursing certifications that qualify include, but are not limited to: AOCNP, AOCNS, AOCN, BMTCN, CPHON, CPON, CBCN OCN
- Or
- Ongoing education by earning 36 cancer-related continuing education nursing contact hours every 3 years (maintained by department manager);
