Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Management Job Specialty: Management Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour Days Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience License: Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York Certifications: BLS required,ACLS, PALS preferred Must-Have: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Master's Degree in Nursing/Nursing Administration preferred or commitment to attain degree. Ongoing current RN registration. Job Description: - Responsible for Nursing Director - Surgical Services with a primarily day shift, including weekends and holidays, with 24/7 responsibility. - Requires a minimum of five years of clinical experience including two years in area of specialization; one year in a nursing leadership position preferred. - Physical requirements include standing and walking most of the day, lifting, moving patients, and equipment. - Charting system used is Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR. - Must have ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is a requirement. - Must be licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York. - Master's Degree in Nursing/Nursing Administration preferred or commitment to attain degree. - Ongoing current RN registration.
