Premier hospital in Brooklyn is seeking experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Nurses for day shift positions. Multiple opportunities are available, offering a chance to work in a leading healthcare facility and provide exceptional patient care. The weekly pay for this position is $2500.

Job Function:

• As Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab Nurse, you are responsible and accountable for the delivery of individualized nursing care to adult patients having cardiac catheterization procedures as well as care for patients having specialized radiology procedures. This includes both the prep and recovery of these patients.
• You are responsible for specialized cardiac tests performed on adult as well as pediatric patients.
• You will monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• You will maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• You will record patients' medical information and vital signs and any other patient care.
• You will modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
• You will prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.

Job Requirements:

• A graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
• Additional courses in physiology and hemodynamic monitoring and EKG interpretation.
• Two (2) years' experience as a Critical Care staff nurse.
• Experience in intensive care nursing (ICU/ER)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
