Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 4x10 hours (8 AM - 6 PM) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: 2-3 years in diagnostic and interventional cath lab License: RN Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Procedural cath lab experience, ability to administer moderate sedation Job Description: - Care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures - Perform percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) - Assist with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella insertion - Temporary pacemaker management - Provide on-call coverage, including one night per week and one weekend per month (Friday 5 PM - Monday 7 AM) - Participate in holiday coverage as required - Discuss shift preferences, including 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts - Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
