Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5 x 8-hour days, Monday - Friday, shifts vary between either 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM & 10:45 AM - 07:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required License: Current and valid RN License preferred, EMSA accepted Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certificates required Must-Have: Previous acute care hospital experience and familiarity with DaVinci Xi Job Description: - Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. - Participate in complex cardiovascular procedures with a focus on patient safety and accurate surgical assistance. - Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure high standards of care. - Perform critical nursing actions in response to life-threatening situations. - Manage and care for patient needs before, during, and after open-heart surgery. - Participate in call duties 1-2 days per week, based on experience and case requirements. - Utilize advanced technology and equipment, including DaVinci Xi. - Maintain a professional and supportive environment for patients, families, and medical staff.
