**Job Title:** Registered Nurse**Job Specialty:** Operating Room (OR) - Cardiovascular (CV)**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Day Shifts, 8 or 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of CV experience**License:** North Dakota or compact state RN license**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - both by American Heart Association (AHA)**Must-Have:** Experience with robotics, ability to circulate CV cases in OR, willingness to assist with other cases when CV is not scheduled**Job Description:**- Circulate independently in operating rooms, particularly for cardiovascular cases.- Utilize Epic (Optime) for managing operating room procedures.- Float to other ORs and assist with cases in additional specialties as needed.- Participate in on-site and off-site call; call one day a week and one weekend every 3 to 4 weeks.- Assist with cases outside of CV specialty when required.- Participate in operating room orientation coordinated by the OR educator.- Dress code requires the wearing of provided OR scrubs.- Engage in a one-to-one nurse-to-patient ratio within the 16 operating room facilities.- Possess the flexibility to stay late as needed based on case schedules.- Commit to helping with other cases within the individual's experience during non-CV scheduled times.Comments: A current traveler occupies this spot; a new start cannot occur prior to the targeted start date. Traveling nurses should live beyond 60 miles from the hospital to qualify as non-local travelers.
