Trauma Level1Charting SystemCernerUnit NotesMedical Solutions Pre-Screens, if clinical recommends AUTO OFFERBasic Dysrhythmia Exam Required PRIOR to sending the contract, 2 attempts, if failed, candidate is DNU with CS AZ and Sacramento for 6 months**MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OF TRAUMA LEVEL 1 EXPERIENCE; WILL SCREEN 8 MONTHS+****MUST HAVE CERNER EXPERIENCE, PLEASE NOTE ON RESUME UNDER WORK HISTORY TO CONFIRM HOW RECENT**- Unit: ED / Trauma- # beds: Acute - 36 and Subacute - 54. Trauma bays - 6 (no travelers)- Required Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS- Preferred Certs: TNCC and ATCN**ENPC not allowed to replace PALS Cert**- Ratios: 1:4 ratio- EMR: Cerner- Charge Nurse: 2 Charge RNs - will task or have light patient load.- Nurse Aides: 4-PCTs for sitters.- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month, at unit discretion- Scrub Color: Navy- Tele: Phillips monitors, must be able to read strips.- Vents: Managed by RT- Hospitalist or Intensivists in house: Minimum of 2 MDs or as many as 8. Midlevels also utilized. Anesthesia- IV Team: Core RNs are US trained.- RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes, Pharmacist in ER 10hrs/day- Shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-11p, 1p-1a- Floating: Float within ER.
