Job Description & RequirementsTravel Rate: $115 Radius: $110 for 51-100 miles Local: $100 for 50 miles or less Assignment for 20 weeks ER RN: 12H Evenings, 36H only; Weekend and holiday required; Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC must be active or proof of class prior to start in packet; NY license, or proof it is in process with visible applied date, MUST be in packet at time of submittal; 1 year minimum of specialty experience required; Patient population ranges from neonate to geriatric. License, or proof it is in process with application date clearly visible, must be included with the submission packet. EPIC experience from within the past 12 months is required and nonnegotiable. Monday to Sunday; Bi-weekly Orientations on Monday. IVS to OFFER; This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit. N Who manages ventilators: Respiratory Unit Specific Procedures and Protocols: Nurse manages drips (prepared by pharmacy staffed 24/7), CA II's are trained to straight stick for labs, nurses can straight stick or draw from the IV, Nurses start their own IV's (IV therapy is available certain hours of the day to assist with difficult starts) Nurses also need to know how to do their own EKG's (the CA II's are trained and can assist with this task) Nurses give their own respiratory treatments Additional Unit Specific Information: Nurse may be responsible for boarded patients, psychiatric patients, COVID patients in their general assignment. Boarder pts can be M/S, LTC, Psych, waiting on admissions, or outsourcing. Critical care ICU patients are moved consistently fast to the ICU unit. ER…has ZERO Tolerance for USE of Cell phone, or ear buds while working.
