The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Job Requirements Proof of COVID & FLU vaccination MUST be provided at time candidate is submitted. LVHN requires a full Hep B series (3 doses) or positive Hep B antibody documentation 1 year Acute Care Experience and/or experience congruent with role in service line. Successful completion of Registered Nurse orientation. Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice. Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care. Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty. Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies. Basic computer skills.
