**Job Title:** Level 3 Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/Gastroenterology**Job Specialty:** Endoscopy/Gastroenterology Registered Nurse**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Monday to Friday; options for 5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts, with on-call requirements for overnight and weekends**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** 2 years of Endoscopy/Gastroenterology experience highly desired**License:** NY Registered Nursing License required**Certifications:** BLS Certification from AHA required**Must-Have:** - Telemetry experience **Job Description:**- Answer patient questions and address their concerns.- Monitor patient vital signs.- Administer sedation to patients before procedures.- Oversee patient recovery post-procedures.- Administer necessary medication to patients.- Complete all necessary documentation, including patient notes and discharge documents.- Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.- Clean and sterilize equipment before use.- Assist doctors during procedures.- Administer IV drips.
