Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room Job Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: GA or Compact license must be in hand Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Experience with management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilated patients, and triage Job Description: - Work every other weekend as part of the schedule requirements. - No on-call requirements for this position. - Expectation to work holidays: If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, you are expected to work it. If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, you are expected to work both. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, you are expected to work two of them. - Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day. - Floating within the facility and to sister hospitals as needed. - Full compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant, start date will be pushed back 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. - Work with a patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics in the Emergency Department. - Core documents and scheduling of labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start. - Modules are completed during orientation and vary by specialty. Non-billable, hours are factored into the orientation time.
